Truck Driver - Port Services

About the role

Enstructure New Haven is a full-service deep-water marine terminal operator and service provider located in the Port of New Haven. We provide turnkey, vertically integrated logistics services for dry bulk, liquid bulk, and breakbulk products, supporting ship, barge, truck, and rail capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive for a full work shift, 5 days per week.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.).
• Willingness to submit to background and drug checks and provide employment recommendations.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A License with a TANKER ENDORSEMENT.
• The ability to obtain TWIC and having a Tanker Endorsement is a plus.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience is necessary.
• A clean driving record with no recent moving or driving violations.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and dispatchers.
• Basic mechanical skills for minor truck maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of applicable driving rules and regulations.

Benefits

• $2500 Signing Bonus: $500 after 6 months, $1000 after 12 months, $500 after 18 months, $500 after 24 months.

Pay

Compensation is based on a percentage, ensuring you receive the greater pay between hourly and trip rates.

Home every day, with most holidays and weekends off.
