About the Role

We are seeking an experienced truck driver to support our supply chain logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Transporting finished goods and raw materials between manufacturing plants, retail, and distribution centers
• Inspecting vehicles for safety and performing preventative maintenance
• Planning routes to ensure timely deliveries
• Documenting work/rest periods, miles driven, and retaining receipts
• Inputting data into automated systems during loading and unloading
• Adhering to trucking regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
• Maneuvering trucks for loading/unloading and verifying delivery instructions
• Reporting defects, accidents, or violations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a truck driver with knowledge of electronic equipment (GPS, AVL, CB radio)
• Ability to drive long hours and handle travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of trucking regulations and safety standards
• Valid truck driving license (CDL A preferred)
• Foresight and adaptability to manage unexpected situations like traffic or weather
• No recent driving violations or safety issues
