Truck Driver Class A

About the role

We are seeking an experienced truck driver to support our supply chain logistics department, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods.

Responsibilities

• Transporting finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing, retail, and distribution centers
• Inspecting vehicles for mechanical and safety issues, performing preventive maintenance
• Planning routes to meet delivery schedules
• Documenting work/rest periods, miles driven, and retaining fuel and toll receipts
• Inputting data into automated systems during loading and unloading
• Adhering to trucking regulations, company policies, and safety standards
• Positioning trucks for loading/unloading, verifying delivery instructions, and reporting issues

Requirements

• Proven experience as a truck driver with knowledge of electronic equipment (GPS, AVL, CB)
• Ability to drive long hours and adapt to traffic and weather conditions
• Valid truck driving license and clean driving record
• Extensive knowledge of trucking regulations
• Foresight and adaptability for unexpected situations
