Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics

Immediate opportunities for full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers with an average annual pay of $114,000. No touch freight — live load and unload. Layovers required.

About the role

You will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety. Deliver medical supplies to hospitals and clinics.

Schedule

• 5-day work week
• 2 consecutive days off

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in your state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
• 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• Must comply with all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• English language proficiency (required for federal compliance under 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Must complete Penske employment application, background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Must accept responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to see and hear
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Must frequently move, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
• Must legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
