Local, home-daily Class A CDL truck driver positions available in WA and OR.

About the role

Deliver palletized grocery freight throughout Washington and Oregon. Light-touch freight to end of trailer with electric pallet jack—no hand unload. Home daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletized grocery freight safely and on time
• Operate electric pallet jack for light-touch freight
• Represent Penske and client brands while driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms
• Comply with all federal, state, and agency regulations
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance
• Ensure personal safety and the safety of others

Schedule

• 5-day work week (weekends required)
• 2 consecutive days off each week
• Dispatch window between 11:00 PM and 3:00 AM
• Average 55-hour work week
• Voluntary overtime available

Pay

$33.75 per hour, plus overtime after 40 hours. Paid every Friday.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
• 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency (required by federal law)
• Ability to work the required schedule and location
• Complete Penske employment application, background investigation, and drug screening
