Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics

About the Role

Local, home-daily Class A CDL Truck Driver positions available. Earn $26.00 per hour with overtime after 40 hours and shift differential when applicable. Drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras for safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers to support patient care.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Represent Penske and client brands while driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms.
• Adhere to all federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Ensure regular, predictable, and full attendance as an essential function of the job.
• Operate vehicles safely and maintain a constant state of alertness.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency as required by federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
• Ability to pass a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
• Ability to work the required schedule and at the specified location.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Frequent movement, standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands to touch, handle, and feel.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
• Frequently and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.

Schedule

• 5-day work week with PM dispatch.
• Flexibility required to cover shifts as needed.
• Home daily.

Pay

$26.00 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours. Shift differential when applicable.
