Truck Driver - CDL Class A Doubles - Penske Logistics

Average annual pay: $86,000 with additional performance incentives up to $10,400 annually.

Dedicated linehaul doubles route pulling two 28' PUP trailers. Home daily.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 6:00 PM dispatch time

Responsibilities

• Operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks designed for comfort and safety
• Represent Penske and client brands while driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms
• Adhere to all federal and state laws, regulations, and safety standards
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance
• Ensure safety for yourself and others while operating in a constant state of alertness

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required, with domicile and licensing in the U.S. state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
• Doubles endorsement and recent experience required
• 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency as required by federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Ability to pass background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
• Ability to work the required schedule and location

Physical Requirements

• Ability to see and hear, with specific vision requirements including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting
• Regular use of hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
