Truck Driver - CDL Class A Doubles - Penske Logistics

About the role

Immediate opportunities for full‑time local Class A CDL truck drivers. Average earnings of $75,000 annually, home daily with weekends off. No‑touch, drop‑hook operations; doubles endorsement required. Experience preferred; training can be provided. You will drive late‑model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best‑in‑class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward‑facing in‑cab cameras to help ensure safety for all.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in your state of residence
• Hold or ability to obtain a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
• See and hear; close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Frequently move, stand, walk, and sit; use hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms
• Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area

Qualifications

• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
• 3‑year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• English language proficiency (per 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Willing to complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely; accept responsibility for own safety and the safety of others

Schedule

Monday through Friday, PM dispatch; home daily; weekends off
