About the Role
We have a Class A Driver TEAMS opening in Corbin, KY for Recent New CDL Graduates that have received their CDL License. We want the right driver to join us at Ryder.
Responsibilities
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Maintaining accurate records and logs
- Fulfilling all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the checking in and out of freight
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 9 months or less of CDL driving experience
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a Ryder background and a Motor Vehicle Registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
- Able to: Follow written and/or oral instructions, Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Pay
- Weekly Minimum Guarantee during training: $1050 per week
- Weekly Minimum Guarantee after training: $1715 per week
- Team Miles Pay: $0.335 per Mile with 5000 Miles per Week
- Team Stops Pay: $7.00 per Stop with 4 - 8 Stops per day
- Paid Training: Schedule: Monday – Saturday Or Sunday - Friday

- Start Time: Must be Open to Bid System for Routes Based on Seniority
