Pay

• Hourly rate: $21.00 per hour
• Weekly pay: $840 per week
• Paid weekly

Schedule

• Home daily — local route
• Monday through Friday
• Start time: 7:30 AM

Route & Freight

• Shuttle equipment between Ryder customer facilities
• No‑touch freight — empty trailers for equipment shuttle transfer movements

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT and safety regulations
• Complete continuous training and provide customer service
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and agency laws, rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements for the position
• Verifiable Class A tractor‑trailer (or comparable) experience:
  • 9 months within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years within the past 5 years, OR
  • 5 years within the past 10 years
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
