Truck Driver CDL A - Dedicated Local

Take the wheel with NFI’s dedicated bakery fleet in a local position covering a 250-mile radius from South Bend, IN. Enjoy daily home time, late-model equipment, and day-one health benefits.

Responsibilities

• Unload bread dollies and trays using a liftgate when needed at stores.
• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow all federal, state, and customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Report all problems with equipment, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after routes.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
• Perform routes, pickups, and deliveries based on customer requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Current Class A CDL from your state of residence.
• At least six months of relevant tractor-trailer experience.
• Acceptable references from past employers.
• Must meet all applicable DOT qualifications.
• Physically capable of moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting.
• Frequently use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.

Pay

$1,200–$1,400 per week.
