Truck Driver

About the role

Bowhead seeks a Truck Driver to support the Advanced Technologies Division. The position involves maintaining equipment and delivering supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving and delivery functions for a warehouse environment.
• Organize and maintain warehouse spaces to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
• Fulfill orders by picking, packing, preparing, and delivering items for shipment.
• Safely perform delivery operations from the warehouse to customer locations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and warehouse tools.
• Avoid non-compliance with safety regulations and company policies in warehouse activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience operating a motor vehicle with a commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Approved state CDL license upon start date of position.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting shipping and receiving documents and reports.
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes and industry standards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Frequent standing, bending, walking, and kneeling in warehouse and workshop environments.
• Comfortable working in varying conditions, including temperature fluctuations and noise.
• Manual dexterity for operating tools and equipment with precision.

Qualifications

Must be able to obtain a Secret-level security clearance. US Citizenship is required for this contract.
