Truck Driver

The Salvation Army, an evangelical part of the Christian Church, operates under the mission of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and addressing human needs through charitable services. This position is located in Roswell, New Mexico and is part-time, working 28 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Licensed according to state requirements
• Able to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis
• Valid NM driver's license with a clean MVR
• Able to travel or drive out of town for day trips
• Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good people skills

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with all aspects of CSF Program and procedures
• Assist with mobile site scheduling, inventory control, and month-end close procedures as required
• Assist with pre-boxing for mobile site distributions as needed
• Maintain an orderly and clean warehouse and service equipment regularly
• Report all accidents involving equipment, personal injury, or property damage to the immediate supervisor
• Treat all customers/donors courteously as a personal representative of The Salvation Army
• Perform other duties as assigned that relate to the position of Warehouse Supervisor

Physical Requirements

• Regularly walk, stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach with hands and arms
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus are required
• Ability to operate telephone, desktop or laptop computer, and access/produce information from a computer
