Truck Driver

About the role

The role of a Truck Driver at Savers involves transporting gently-used clothing, accessories, and household goods between the company's stores and its nonprofit partners. This position requires a clean driving record and the ability to handle physical demands including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transporting donated goods between stores and nonprofit partners
• Ensuring inventory levels are maintained and restocked
• Handling customer inquiries and ensuring a positive customer experience
• Maintaining a safe and efficient driving record

Requirements

• Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Physical requirements including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling, standing, bending, crouching, and repetitive hand use
• Able to work independently without supervision
• Must have a clean driver’s abstract annually

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history
• Ability to perform basic math calculations at the level of high school
• Must be able to read and write
• Customer service skills and good communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail

Pay

$15.81 to $23.72 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
