Truck Driver

Responsibilities

  • Transport loads of tubular and other products to and from specific designations.
  • Verify truck load to ensure conformance with shipping requirements.
  • Help load, unload, and move products and materials.
  • Perform operation, maintenance and safety checks on trucks and trailers.
  • Collect documents for goods received and delivered.
  • Complete driving logbooks, when not operating an ELD mandated unit.
  • General housekeeping of vehicle.
  • Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or control; talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • May assist in loading and unloading truck.

Qualifications

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid CDL License.
  • Three years’ experience transporting and securing oversized loads.
