Essential Functions

• Responsible for the safe and responsible operation of end dump, side dump, and belly dump trucks, including pup trailers.
• Responsible for inspecting vehicle for proper and safe operating condition before and after each trip.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Clean equipment on a regular basis.
• Maintain a DOT driver's log and other required transport documentation, adhere to all local, state, and federal (FMCSA) regulations and ensure DOT compliance at all times.
• Keep time and material records.
• Effectively communicate via 2-way radio with supervisor and other team members.

Competencies

• A Class A CDL with tanker endorsement required.
• A clean driving record, trucking experience, and knowledge of FMCSA Regulations required.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
