Truck Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport construction equipment, machinery, materials, and supplies between job sites and company facilities.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Complete required logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Cookordination with project managers and field crews to ensure timely equipment deliveries and pickups.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and minor equipment maintenance as needed.
• Monitor vehicle and trailer condition and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of assigned equipment.
• Follow all federal, state, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Support construction crews with additional duties when transportation tasks are complete.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Class A preferred).
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safe driving practices.
• Experience hauling heavy equipment on lowboy, flatbed, or equipment trailers preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement requirements.
• Ability to operate or load construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, dozers, rollers, and loaders is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, as project demands require.
• Strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb onto trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
