Truck Body Installer

About the role

J&J Truck Bodies and Trailers & J&J Truck Equipment are seeking experienced truck body installers.

Responsibilities

• Check driveshaft clearance
• Ensure proper routing of airlines
• Competent in basic shop math
• Modify and prepare chassis as required by the work order.
• Install wiring and electrical components.
• Install pneumatic controls and components.
• Install hydraulic controls and components.
• Install plow lifts and hoists.
• Install lift axles.
• Install body hoists and hoist cylinder(s)
• Safely perform duties; wear always required PPE
• Observes and complies with all provisions of the ISO 9001 QMS

Requirements

Vocational/technical training needed or a high school diploma or general education degree with work experience in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

Must be able to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.

Skills

Must have strong mechanical skills, including welding and cutting.
