Trip Support Specialist I - Aviation Location: Webster, TX (Remote) Schedule: 24/7 operation with rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Compensation: $19-$23/hour DOE + bonus potential Keep Global Aviation Moving At World Fuel, we support some of the world's most complex and demanding aviation operations. As a Trip Support Specialist I, you will play a critical role in coordinating international flight operations and serving as a trusted partner to flight crews, operators, and customers worldwide. This is a fast-paced position that combines aviation operations, customer service, logistics, and real-time problem solving. Whether supporting a business jet crossing multiple countries or assisting military and commercial flight operations, you'll help ensure every trip is executed safely, efficiently, and seamlessly. What You'll Do Coordinate Global Flight Operations Support international and domestic flight operations by arranging and managing: Airport ground handling servicesLanding and overflight permitsAirport slots and aircraft parkingCustoms, immigration, and regulatory requirementsHotel accommodations for flight crewsGround transportation arrangementsReal-time flight following and operational updates Deliver Outstanding Customer Service Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customersBuild strong relationships through proactive communication and operational expertiseRespond quickly to schedule changes, operational challenges, and customer requestsEnsure trips are executed accurately and efficiently from planning through completionProvide solutions in time-sensitive situations while maintaining exceptional service standards Manage Aviation Logistics Create and maintain trip records within company operating systemsPrepare customer quotations, cost estimates, and operational documentationCoordinate with airports, government agencies, international vendors, and service providers worldwideTrack trip progress and proactively communicate updatesEnsure accurate operational and billing documentation Support Flight Planning Activities Depending On The Customer Segment Supported, Responsibilities May Include Assisting with flight planning and route analysisMonitoring weather conditions and operational impactsProviding weather briefing supportUtilizing flight planning platforms and aviation operational toolsCommunicating route, permit, and operational requirements to customers and crews What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aeronautics, Aviation Management, or a related field preferred0-2 years of aviation industry experience, or equivalent aviation education and trainingStrong customer service and communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsComfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team environment Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Flight planningFlight dispatch supportAirport operationsBusiness or corporate aviationCommercial aviation operationsMilitary aviation operationsGlobal trip supportAviation customer serviceWeather briefing services Technical Skills Experience With Any Of The Following Is Preferred PPS8Air Inc.NavblueMicrosoft Office SuiteFlight planning softwareAviation weather platformsAviation operational systems What Makes You Successful You Are Someone Who Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environmentEnjoys solving complex logistical and operational challengesMaintains composure and professionalism under pressureCan effectively manage multiple trips and competing priorities simultaneouslyCommunicates clearly and confidently with customers and stakeholdersBuilds strong working relationships across teams and time zonesTakes ownership of customer outcomesDemonstrates exceptional attention to detail and follow-throughHas a passion for aviation and global operations Why Join World Fuel?
