Trimmer Operator Foreperson
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew.
- Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
- Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training.
- Communicates with property owners about work to be done and responsibilities.
- Maintains accurate records and reports on crew performance.
- Controls crew costs and manages resources effectively.
- Furnishes reports to supervisors on various aspects of the crew’s work.
- Assists with emergency situations and maintains public safety.
- Maintains equipment and performs necessary repairs.
- Ensures compliance with DOT maintenance and inspection requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Understanding of line clearance industry drawings and symbols.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Organization and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to adjust to field requirements and take independent action.
- Safety awareness and ability to operate company vehicles safely.
- Physical capability to handle heavy lifting and work at heights.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- A minimum of 3120 hours of working experience in the line clearance industry.
Pre-Screen
Upon offer, employees may be required to undergo a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR check.
License & Certifications
- A valid Commercial Driver's license (CDL) is required.

- FREQUENT: walking, sitting, climbing on/off truck, reading, lifting up to 10 lbs.
- CONTINUOUS: speaking clearly, seeing distant, seeing, hearing-speech-range, depth-perception, color vision.
