Responsibilities

• Process meat products using hand tools, knives, machinery, and other equipment.
• Support coworkers and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Maintain a safe and efficient production line.
• Ensure products reach families across America.
• Perform essential production tasks with reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and teamwork standards.
• Work shifts and overtime as needed based on production demands.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Willing and able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Continuous/repetitive movement including grasping, pinching hands, flexing, and extending arms.
• Standing on concrete and/or platforms for up to a 12-hour shift.
• Working around animal blood and/or carcass parts.
• Using a knife and working in cold and warm environments.
• Working in a noisy environment with personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Working with sanitation/cleaning chemicals and strong smells/odors.
• Climbing, moving on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways, and platforms.
• Bending, stooping, and twisting repetitively over the course of an entire shift.
• Walking long distances.
• May require certification to operate certain equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly, and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with reasonable accommodations as necessary.
