Trimmer - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Check the Shop Order for any special instructions.
• Inspect top and bottom of the mats and ensure they meet manufacturing and customer requirements.
• Stack flat mats immediately and take roll mats to the roller.
• Verify trim line and trimming machine settings (string, blade, and air line).
• Ensure trim channel is clear of debris.
• Place mats on cart or trimming table.
• Cut and remove excess rubber using the trimming machine.
• Use "Border Width Gage" to verify mat width.
• Inspect mats at each step for quality defects.
• Segregate defective mats and handle accordingly.
• Record rejected and scrap mats on the trims log.
• Communicate any issues related to the product to the line CEO promptly.
• Keep the work area neat and clean.
• Operate safely.

• Fast-paced manufacturing line experience.
• Standing for prolonged periods.
• Lift, carry, or maneuver product weighing 20+ lbs.
