Responsibilities
The Trucking Personal Injury Trial Attorney will handle catastrophic and trucking motor vehicle accident cases. Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day handling of litigation cases
- Drafting and filing of litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda
- Guiding clients through the case process
- Interacting with expert witnesses, including conferences, drafting of expert reports, and affidavits
- Attending and preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
Qualifications
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- An active member in good standing with the State Bar of Kentucky
- Trial experience required
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Self-starter with a drive for long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
