About the role

The Triage RN at MercyOne Genesis Visiting Nurses Association provides telephone triage and patient education based on software protocols and nursing process, physician referrals, and service referrals to callers. Ensures that services are performed efficiently according to VNA and departmental standards and goals.

Responsibilities

• Provides telephone triage and patient education based on software protocols and nursing process, physician referrals, and service referrals to callers.
• Ensures that services are performed efficiently according to VNA and departmental standards and goals.

Requirements

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Special Training: Phone triage course within 6 months of hire date; keyboarding; windows
• Licenses/Registrations: Registered Nurse in Iowa; Registered Nurse in Illinois within 1 year.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years experience required.
