Tree Climber

About the role

As a Tree Climber with Joshua Tree Experts, you will work alongside a 2 to 4-person tree crew, assisting in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques. This role is critical for ensuring safe tree operations, maintaining assigned equipment, and communicating effectively with the crew.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with crew leader and coworkers
• Maintain a professional image and provide excellent customer service
• Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist
• Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment
• Follow company safety culture and ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations
• Understand and perform aerial lift operations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of tree climbing experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Available to work at least 40 hours per week

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is an ISA Certified Arborist.
