About the role

Joshua Tree Experts, the premier tree care professionals in Raleigh, NC, is searching for an experienced Tree Climber to work alongside a 2 to 4-person tree crew. As a Tree Climber, you will assist in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques. This role is critical for ensuring safe tree operations, maintaining assigned equipment, and communicating effectively with the crew and clients near the job site.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with crew leader and coworkers to maintain a professional image
• Provide excellent customer service
• Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist
• Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment
• Follow company safety culture and ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations
• Understand and perform aerial lift operations
• Be available to work at least 40 hours per week

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of tree climbing experience
• Physical ability to climb every day
• Valid driver’s license
