About the role

Join Joshua Tree Experts, Jacksonville's premier tree care professionals, as an experienced Tree Climber. You will work alongside a 2 to 4-person tree crew, assisting in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques. This role is critical for ensuring safe tree operations, maintaining equipment, and effective communication with the crew.

We are dedicated to expanding our coworkers' knowledge and abilities, offering paid training to ensure you have the latest understanding of industry technology and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with crew leader and coworkers
• Maintain a professional image and provide excellent customer service
• Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist
• Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment
• Follow company safety culture and ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations
• Understand and perform aerial lift operations
• Work at least 40 hours per week

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of experience in tree climbing, rigging, and removals
• Valid driver’s license
