Essential Responsibilities
- Have knowledge of each child he/she supports.
- Develop each child’s plan of care and oversee its implementation in the home or community.
- Provide supervision, support, and mentorship to home and community-based staff.
- Input data from BHP sessions in order to support the BCBA in making data-based treatment decisions.
- Assure the service intake process is complete and timely.
- Maintain organization of weekly progress notes, tally sheets, client data and other pertinent records.
- Complete Mainecare authorization requests within the managed care system for sections 28 and 28 ABA.
Required
- Technician III educational background; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work.
- First Aid/CPR/Bloodborne pathogens, BHP, and Safety Care certifications within the first 30 days of employment and ongoing, thereafter.
Preferred
- Experience working with children who have an Autism Spectrum Diagnosis.
- Experience working with families.
- Experience supervising staff.
