Responsibilities

• Coordinate the patient scheduling process to maximize production, while collaborating with clinical staff to ensure smooth incoming patient flow
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of current treatment plans and financial treatment options
• Prepare and present financial treatment plans to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
• Follow up with patients regarding the doctor’s treatment plans and assist in scheduling appointments
• Contact insurance companies to verify coverage and fee schedules, ensuring accurate insurance breakdowns
• Present treatment fees and estimates, documenting financial arrangements and patient commitments to pay
• Absorb insurance forms and ensure correct completion
• Collaborate with the team to provide an exceptional patient experience and assist with administrative duties as needed
• Participate in emergency procedures, summoning medical assistance when required, and support team members as needed

Requirements

• Working knowledge of dental terminology and practices
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with the general public, managing both patient concerns and inquiries
• Must be flexible and possess forward-thinking abilities to anticipate patient and team needs
