Treatment Center Director

About the Role

AppleGate Recovery is seeking an accountable, process-oriented, and efficient leader to oversee operations for our clinics as a Treatment Center Director. This role involves leading a diverse team of physicians, counselors, and auxiliary staff to meet the needs of patients undergoing treatment for opioid addiction, while also managing daily operations and clinic performance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation and performance of the clinic
• Manages clinic operations to meet budgeted/planned results
• Participates in interviewing, hiring, and training of clinic staff
• Evaluates, manages, counsels, and terminates subordinate personnel
• Provides direction to clinic personnel and communicates corporate mandates, goals, and objectives
• Ensures completion of performance goals through regular staff supervision
• Communicates with and ensures compliance with regulatory bodies (SAMHSA, DEA, CARF, JCAHO, HIPAA, etc.)
• Manages preparation of federal, state, and local applications, filings, licensure, permits, and approvals
• Identifies and implements cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies
• Assists with partnering opportunities and linkage/support agreements to drive census growth
• Develops, monitors, and reports on key performance indicators of clinic measures
• Maintains and updates policy and procedure manuals and clinic operations procedures
• Serves as a clinic resource and arranges for necessary training
• Maintains patient, employee, and company confidentiality
• Establishes and maintains a positive clinic culture
• Identifies and removes internal barriers to patient success
• Creates and maintains referral opportunities to expand access to treatment
• Participates in community relations and development activities to drive census
• Implements tactical steps to increase and retain census
• Ensures clinic operations are prepared for increased census
• Participates in political activities to maintain company connections
• Identifies, hires, and trains culturally diverse personnel
• Participates in the Company Performance Improvement Process
• Assists with marketing programs and literature development
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Multiple years of experience as an administrator of a clinical program
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field from an accredited college or university
• Understanding of clinic operations, with significant experience in substance abuse treatment
• Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to supervise and manage personnel
• Strategic thinker with the ability to recommend and implement solutions
• Self-starter, able to work autonomously
• Customer service focused, eager, and energetic
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
