About the role

This role manages a portfolio of clients with duties that include developing measurable strategic plans to foster expansion, creating effective marketing and communication plans, and ensuring bank product offerings and service support meet client expectations. The Treasury Sales Client Officer (TSCO) serves as the lead in coordinating complex Request for Proposal processes with Treasury Sales teams, builds partnerships with business partners and key client decision makers, and completes portfolio business reviews focused on revenue realization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships, retaining and growing existing revenue while seeking opportunities to deepen solutions per relationship.
  • Oversee pricing and profitability, and direct phone/web-based client calling.
  • Coordinate regular relationship review meetings with the client team, addressing process inefficiencies, improvements, and industry initiatives.
  • Drive revenue and profitability growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting clients with strategic and tactical needs within the region of coverage.
  • Develop data-driven insights and presentations for clients, including recommendations to reduce risk, improve working capital, and digitize payments/receipts.
  • Participate in the Client Management Process, focusing on relationship development from new client growth to deepening existing relationships through needs identification.
  • Build relationships with internal business partners and key client decision makers, completing account/portfolio business reviews.
  • Ensure service and fulfillment requests are directed to relevant teams, responding to client and partner requests promptly and keeping stakeholders updated.
  • Maintain client pricing (changes, new services) and ensure accurate billing, while managing client escalations and informing the internal team.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities through account analysis and regular client interaction.
  • Protect and grow revenue by managing client escalations and keeping the internal team informed.

Requirements

  • 5 years of prior treasury sales experience.
  • Product and financial acumen.
  • Ability to interact with and influence people internally and externally through expert verbal and written communication and strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to read and leverage data to proactively identify trends and opportunities.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills for balancing multiple sales activities.
  • Deep understanding of bank structure and operational aspects of global cash management products and services.
  • Understanding of and adherence to risk guidelines to proficiently identify, manage, and escalate risk for responsible business growth.
  • Passionately curious, courageous, knowledgeable of bank networks, and effective in business partnering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (required).
  • B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree (desired).
