About the role

The Treasury Sales Client Officer (TSCO) is a hybrid junior sales/treasury associate position within the Private Bank division of Bank of America. Reporting to the Private Bank team, the TSCO works closely with client-facing teammates to consult on sales opportunities and provide product expertise to deliver the best possible solution to Private Bank clients, including Family Offices, Real Estate, Private Equity, and Business Owners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and pursue treasury revenue streams and increase product penetration across an assigned portfolio
  • Partner closely with client-facing teammates to consult on sales opportunities
  • Provide product expertise to deliver the best possible solution that meets the objectives of the client/prospect
  • Retain and grow existing revenue, seek opportunities to deepen solutions per relationship, manage pricing & profitability, and direct phone/web-based client calling within the Private Bank GPS Division
  • Work regularly with partners on fulfillment requests
  • Coordinate regular relationship review meetings with the client team and look at process inefficiencies, improvements, and industry initiatives that could benefit the client
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a client-centric mindset while engaging with some of the world’s most well-recognized Private Bank clients
  • Maintain a client focus, treasury industry expertise, client subsector expertise, and a broad understanding of the bank's structure
  • Drive revenue and profitability growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting clients with both strategic and tactical needs within the region of coverage
  • Develop data-driven insights and presentations for clients, including recommendations to reduce risk, improve working capital, and digitize payments/receipts, etc.
  • Participate in the Client Management Process that focuses on client relationship development from growth of new client relationships to deepening existing relationships through thoughtful identification of client needs
  • Maintain relationships with internal business partners and key client decision makers and complete account/portfolio business reviews
  • Ensure service and fulfillment-related requests/queries are directed to the relevant teams accordingly, respond to all client and partner requests in a timely manner, and keep stakeholders up-to-date on progress
  • Participate in the Client Management Process that focuses on client relationship development from growth of new client relationships to deepening existing relationships through thoughtful identification of client needs
  • Manage client escalations and keep internal team informed
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities through account analysis and regular client interaction

Qualifications

  • 3 years of prior treasury sales experience
  • Product and financial acumen
  • Ability to interact with and influence people internally and externally by expert use of verbal and written communication and through strong presentation skills
  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and balance multiple sales activities
  • A deep understanding of bank structure and the operational aspects of global cash management products and services
  • Adequate understanding of and adherence to risk guidelines to proficiently identify, manage, and escalate risk to grow the business responsibly
  • Passionately curious, courageous, knowledge of bank network, and effective business partnering
