Treasury Operations Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to validate reporting between systems.
• This will include working with the engineering team to validate discrepancies between systems to determine which dataset is valid.
• Determine what resolution is needed to ensure proper customer accounting.
• Notify Accounts Receivable team of account adjustments necessary.
• Notify Manager if adjustment will have a significant impact on financials.
• Validate and document customer/reporting issues.
• Maintain records of adjustments and assist in reconciling adjustments at month end.
• Aid in monthly banking entries and account reconciliations for various accounts.
• Periodically assist in gathering data from internal systems for the yearly financial statements audit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field; leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with cash management and banking is preferred.
• Familiarity with monthly financial closing and reporting a plus.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Ability to work directly with major customers and other departments within the organization.
• Team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to interact effectively with leadership.
• Proactive ability to use own initiative/judgement and problem-solving skills, with ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and discretion are required.
