Key Responsibilities
- Support investment portfolio tracking, reporting, and analysis, while coordinating with Accounting and Operations teams.
- Aid in collateral management, mortgage purchases, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain daily liquidity positions, funding activities, and cash management processes.
- Provide backup support for Treasury operational functions, including wire processing, reporting controls, and other critical activities.
- Aid in the preparation of Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) materials, recurring Treasury reports, and balance sheet analytics.
- Contribute to interest rate risk analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts.
- Support loan and deposit pricing analysis, net interest margin planning, and profitability assessments.
- Perform forecasting, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate across departments to identify opportunities for process efficiencies and enhanced reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in bank treasury management, financial services, forecasting, financial reporting, or a similar banking-related role preferred.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Hightly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with balance sheet management, liquidity analysis, or asset-liability management.
- Familiarity with interest rate risk modeling, Treasury reporting, and financial forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability to support process improvements and systems-related initiatives.
