About the role

The Treasury Analyst supports the day-to-day treasury operations of California Bioenergy and its affiliated entities by ensuring the timely and accurate processing, recording, and monitoring of cash and banking transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate cash activity schedules and monitor daily bank account activity and balances across multiple bank accounts and legal entities.
  • Review incoming and outgoing transactions for completeness, accuracy, and appropriate recording.
  • Identify unusual, unexpected, or potentially fraudulent transactions and escalate concerns promptly.
  • Assist with the weekly payment and check-run process in partnership with Accounts Payable.
  • Prepare, process, and document bank deposits, including remote deposits when applicable.
  • Support Accounting with bank reconciliations, month-end closing, and research of outstanding or reconciling items.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Receivable to support the identification and application of customer receipts and deposits.
  • Support banking implementations, system enhancements, and treasury process-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with cash management, bank account monitoring, deposits, ACH payments, wire transfers, check processing, and intercompany transactions.
  • Experience supporting multiple legal entities and working within established financial controls.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and related business applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet recurring deadlines, and work effectively with limited supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field required.
  • Two to five years of treasury and banking experience required.
  • Experience with Sage or a comparable accounting or enterprise resource planning system preferred.
  • Experience with Chase Access or a similar commercial online banking platform preferred.
  • Ability to work full-time from CalBio’s Dallas, Texas office.
