Treasurer for Girl Scout Camp Martha Johnston Adopt-A-Camp Team

Description

We are looking for an adult volunteer to be a part of our Girl Scout Adopt-A-Camp (ACT) Team for the Treasurer position. Our group is comprised of volunteers with different skills sets that want to improve and support the upkeep of our local Girl Scout camp property. We are looking for someone with accounting experience that would be interested in being the team's treasurer.

This group meets virtually twice a month on Wednesdays at 7:30pm. The group also holds events, work days and fundraisers throughout the year.

Requirements

• Accounting experience strongly preferred
• Must register as a member and volunteer with Girl Scouts ($30 annual membership fee)
• Pass a background check
• Knowledge of hand tools and power tools is desirable, but not required if interested in participating in work days at camp
