TREASURER

Key Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day incoming and outgoing payments.
• Preparing monthly and annual financial reports for the committee.
• Acting as the main point of contact for our external accountants.
• Ensuring we meet all financial responsibilities and reporting deadlines as an OSCR-registered charity.

Who We Are Looking For

• You have solid experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance (formal qualifications are an advantage).
• You are highly competent with IT, specifically online business banking and financial management software (we currently use Xero).
• You are willing to become a GAL member, step into a committee role, and take the time to understand the responsibilities of being a trustee for a registered charity.

Support & Handover

You won't be starting from scratch. Our outgoing Treasurer has kept our records in excellent shape and will provide a full, comprehensive handover. The existing committee will also be there to support you as you settle into the role.
