Tray Delivery Aide - Part Time - Afternoons

Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tray Delivery Aide - Part Time - Afternoons. In this role, the successful candidate delivers meal trucks to patient units and trays to patients, distributes menus to patients, and collects dirty trays for warewashing.

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Prints census sheets and delivers trays to patients on assigned units.
• Reads patient menus to confirm room number, diet, and date of birth.
• Retrieves dirty or finished trays for warewashing.
• Distributes appropriate menus to patients in advance of mealtime for selection.
• Uses proper scripting techniques in all interactions with patients.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Strong communication (both oral and written) and customer service skills.
• Ability to read well and write legibly.
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years in Food Service or Tray Passing.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $24.60 - $24.60 hourly. Actual salaries depend on factors including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
