Traveling Teller (40 Hour) - Northern Utah County

About the role

Zions Bank seeks to hire a Client Service Associate (Teller) to join the Retail Support team. This position supports Zions Bank branches across South Salt Lake and Northern Utah County areas.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Identify and address clients' needs by providing a variety of services such as opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activating ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolve client's problems either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities through exploring clients' needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients' needs.
• Experience selling products and services based on customer needs preferred.

Pay

Minimum pay is $17 an hour.

Schedule

This position primarily supports our branches in the South Salt Lake and Northern Utah County area. Mileage reimbursements are provided whenever an employee travels over 25 miles round trip from their home. This position may, on occasion, send employees in this area to cover shifts as far north as Salt Lake City and as far south as Provo.
