Traveling Teller (40 Hour) - Davis County and Downtown Salt Lake
About the role
Zions Bank’s Retail Support team consists of traveling tellers and bankers who provide critical coverage for branches across the bank’s footprint. This role offers the chance to build a broad banking skill set while working across multiple locations and networking with professionals throughout the organization. The mission is to ensure branches operate smoothly, meet strategic objectives, and uphold Zions Bank’s vision.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
- Identify and address clients’ needs by providing services such as opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activating ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, and receiving loan payments.
- Resolve clients’ problems either directly or by referring them to appropriate branch or bank resources.
- Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities by exploring clients’ needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or related experience.
- Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
- Solid balancing and customer service skills.
- Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs.
- Experience selling products and services based on customer needs is preferred.
Locations
This position primarily supports branches in Davis County and downtown Salt Lake City. Travel may occasionally extend as far south as Draper/Riverton, as far west as Tooele and Magna, and as far east as Park City, Kamas, and Coalville. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel over 25 miles round trip from the employee’s home.

Pay
Minimum pay is $17 per hour.
