Traveling Teller (20 Hour) - Weber County

About the role

Zions Bank’s Retail Support team consists of traveling tellers and bankers who provide branch coverage across a geographical area, stepping in during absenteeism to ensure smooth daily operations. The role offers a broad skill‑set in banking fundamentals, networking opportunities, and the chance to help branches meet strategic objectives while upholding the bank’s 150‑year legacy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with policies and maintain an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address client needs by providing services such as opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activating ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolve client problems through direct action or referral to other branch/bank resources.
• Identify and maximize cross‑sell opportunities by exploring client needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross‑sell bank products based on client needs.
• Experience selling products and services based on customer needs preferred.

Pay

Minimum pay is $17 per hour, with competitive compensation plus mileage reimbursement for travel over 25 miles round‑trip from home.
