Traveling Technician

About the role

At EquipmentShare, we're hiring a Traveling Technician (Mechanic) based out of our rental facility in Leetsdale, PA to support branches in Niagara Falls, NY; Bridgeport, WV; and Charleston, WV. The role involves traveling and providing on-site equipment service, maintenance, and repairs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Address hard and soft down equipment, conduct machine inspections, and prepare units for use.
• Work closely with customers, troubleshoot issues using real-time diagnostic tools, and apply electrical and hydraulic expertise to resolve problems efficiently.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis.
• Aid in pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours. On-call during weekends in special circumstances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active applicable state class driver's license.
• Construction knowledge and background preferred.
• Must own tools applicable to the position.
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics and diagrams.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
