Description
Lead all on-site construction operations from project start through closeout.
Manage subcontractors, vendors, schedules, and daily site activities.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, architects, and engineering teams.
Conduct site meetings and maintain project documentation.
Monitor quality control and enforce company standards.
Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules.
Identify and resolve field issues proactively.
Oversee inspections and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
Maintain strong client relationships throughout project execution.
Travel
Travel extensively to project locations across the United States.
Profile
- A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Experience overseeing ground-up construction projects independently.
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, aviation, automotive, or similar commercial projects preferred.
- Ability to manage projects with lean field teams and multiple subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, safety, and quality control.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Stable work history with demonstrated tenure and career progression.
- Willingness to travel nationwide for project assignments.
Job Offer
- Base salary: $124,600 - $176,300.
