About the role

An established, mid-west based general contracting firm seeks an experienced traveling superintendent to run high-profile projects. This position is hosted by Ross Theel.

Core Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction or similar field
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control
• Ability to travel regularly to job sites across different regions
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage field crews and subcontractors
• Solid understanding of safety standards and commitment to enforcing safety protocols
• Proficient in construction documentation, reporting, and communication with project teams and clients
• Able to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts

Preferred Skills

• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
• Experience with construction management tools and software
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between project locations
