Traveling Project Engineer

Description

Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project operations.
Manage and track Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders.
Cookordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners.
Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Maintain project schedules and support milestone tracking.
Assist with procurement and material delivery coordination.
Prepare meeting agendas, project reports, and documentation.
Support quality control and safety initiatives on-site.
Monitor project budgets and assist with cost tracking.
Participate in project planning, forecasting, and closeout activities.
Ensure project documents are maintained and updated accurately.
Help identify and resolve project issues before they impact schedule or budget.

Profile

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
1-5+ years of construction experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or related role.
Experience with commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, mission critical, data center, or large-scale building projects preferred.
Strong understanding of construction processes and project documentation.
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling software is preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to travel extensively and work on projects throughout the country.
Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
OSHA certification is a plus.
