Traveling Production Manager
About the role
As a Production Manager at The Boldt Company, you will play a hands-on, high-impact role in shaping how our projects come to life. You will lead the development and execution of production planning strategies while helping teams challenge traditional construction approaches.
Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of the Boldt Production System (BPS) to optimize workflow, improve predictability, and create a better jobsite experience.
- Partner with project teams to optimize workspace design, supply chains, and planning processes to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Coach and train teams to build capability in production best practices, facilitate coordination meetings and daily huddles, and lead field observations to identify inefficiencies, remove constraints, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with VDC/BIM teams to integrate models and technology into execution, while supporting safety, quality, and schedule performance in alignment with Boldt standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4–6 years of construction or production-related experience
- Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, materials, and industry standards
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive results across cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- A passion for improving processes, building strong relationships, and creating high-performing teams

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $96,000 - $125,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Schedule
This is a project-based travel position. Travel requirements are subject to change based on project needs.
