As a Part-Time Periodontal Dental Assistant, you’ll provide clinical support to enhance patient-dentist relationships, ensure efficient care delivery, and maintain communication for a positive patient experience. Our Specialty team travels to multiple locations, requiring reliable transportation and a willingness to travel. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Assist chairside during various dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations
• Manage dental supply inventory
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations (Groton, East Hartford, Bloomfield, Torrington, and Branford)
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• C.D.A. preferred
• Strong verbal skills
• Possess required certifications, licensure, or registration as mandated by the state
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care

Pay

Hourly Rate: $32 USD - $34 USD
