As a Part-Time Periodontal Dental Assistant, you’ll provide clinical support to enhance patient-dentist relationships, ensure efficient care delivery, and maintain communication for a positive patient experience. Our Specialty team travels to multiple locations, requiring reliable transportation and a willingness to travel. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Assist chairside during various dental procedures
- Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Prepare, breakdown, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
- Maintain compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations
- Manage dental supply inventory
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations (Groton, East Hartford, Bloomfield, Torrington, and Branford)
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- C.D.A. preferred
- Strong verbal skills
- Possess required certifications, licensure, or registration as mandated by the state
- Embrace a positive team approach to patient care
Pay
Hourly Rate: $32 USD - $34 USD
