$18.00 an hour
Schedule
Monday - Friday starting at 8am. 50%-70% driving travel is required, including overnights. Territory covers San Antonio, South, and North Texas areas. Phone & car allowance plus mileage reimbursement available, along with per diem and company-paid hotels when traveling.
About the Role
As a Merchandiser, you’ll drive to customer locations using your personal vehicle to meet with customers, place merchandise in display areas following set plan-o-grams, and ensure every square foot of the store is properly set. You’ll assess critical needs, notify management of issues, evaluate customer sales, and recommend replacement items to increase sales and profits.
Responsibilities
- Service assigned stores as scheduled daily
- Provide excellent customer service
- Merchandise, stock, price, shelf-face, rotate stock, and clean product and shelves at customer locations
- Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store
- Monitor potential account problems at the store level and report to Sales and/or Sales Manager
- Maintain safe store aisles and assigned equipment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Report hours to division on provided time sheets
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- 6+ months of merchandising and customer-facing experience
- Ability to interpret and execute planograms
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper insurance
- Ability to frequently lift products weighing 5-25 lbs throughout the day
- Ability to lift a case of product or tote weighing up to 70 lbs
