Traveling Merchandiser

About the role

The Merchandiser is responsible for visiting customer locations to set up merchandise according to planograms, assess store needs, and recommend product replacements to boost sales and profits. This role involves driving a personal vehicle within the territory, primarily in DFW, West & East Texas, with overnight stays required.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf organization, and maintaining store safety and cleanliness
• Providing excellent customer service, reporting issues, and maintaining equipment
• Servicing assigned stores daily and providing excellent customer support
• Arranging store shelves and displays as per store requirements
• Monitoring store issues and reporting to management
• Maintaining safety, cleanliness, and equipment in stores

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months merchandising and customer-facing experience
• Ability to interpret and execute planograms
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance and a valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Physical ability to lift products weighing 5-25 lbs, up to 70 lbs occasionally
