Traveling Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary

Newbury Living is a growing property management company seeking a Traveling Maintenance Specialist to support and elevate their communities across the Des Moines metro. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining systems at various properties.

What You'll Do

• Travel to multiple properties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems
• Take the lead on preventative maintenance to keep communities running smoothly
• Perform detailed inspections and identify improvement opportunities
• Train and mentor on-site maintenance teams
• Cook up vendor work to ensure quality and efficiency
• Deliver excellent service and build positive relationships with residents and staff

Requirements

• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Eastern Iowa
• 5+ years of apartment or multi-family maintenance experience (preferred)
• Strong skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and general repairs
• Solid problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills
• Comfort with basic computer systems and documentation
• Valid Iowa driver's license and current vehicle insurance
